KIDS AND THE FUN THEY CAN BRING!

Ok, so we all have those things we swear by, like your lipstick or a favorite recipe, or a book, so this section is full of my favorites! And yes they are kid tested!

       Products

So the first thing I LOVE is Suave 2 in 1 kids shampoo. So I used to hate 2 in 1 shampoos, but then I had my fifth kid and anything to make life a little easier. But the actual name is "Suave Hair Smoothers", we use the "Orange- Mango" and "Strawberry Swirl" they smell eadible! Either way I use the orange for the boys and strawberry for the girls and when they are done it  takes the work out of brushing their hair.

When it comes to laundry soap I like to use Arm and Hammer, it is awesome. If you have a stain just put some of the detergent on the spot before you wash whatever it is, and if it is white, mix a little bleach with about a cup and use that, it will take out anything. I have also learned that you need to check to see if the stain is gone before you dry it, which can be a hassle when your in hurry, but if you dry it it will lead to a stain!

Another Arm and Hammer product is their deodarant, it is awesome. I am one of those avid sweaters so its very important to stay fresh and it has not failed me yet!

       Kid Friendly Food

Okay, I know sometimes it can be hard to find something that everyone will like but the best you can do is try.

  Tator Tot Cassarole

You'll need a bag of tator tots, 2 pounds of  ground hamburger, always try to use at least 85% lean, the leaner the better,2 cans of cream of mushroom soup( you can substitue it for another soup if you don't do mushroom), cheese(optional, but I use Velvetta). First you brown the hamburger then you add the soup and cheese(if your using cheese, if not its just as good), spread the mix across the bottom of a baking dish, layer the tator tots in a single layer on the top of the meat mix and bake for 35 to 45 minutes depending on your oven. My kids eat it with ketchup on top!

           Taco Mac

You'll need 2 boxes of Kraft Mac and Cheese(you can use any mac you like Velvetta shells are awesome), 1 pound of hamburger, a pack of taco season,( I use generic when making this and you really can't tell the difference), a can of rotel. Brown your meat add the taco season and the rotel, make your mac and cheese as the directions say and add the meat.

      Homemade Quesadillas

You'll need a pack of flour tortillas, shredded cheese, meat of your choice, I use hamburger, taco season, can of rotel, refried beans, all your favorite toppings, butter. First brown your meat, add your season and rotel. Cook your beans as well. Get a flat pan, skillet or griddle hot with a layer of butter , put your beans, meat and cheese layered on one side fold in half and place on the griddle for a couple minutes until golden brown, flip and repeat. Put your lettuce, sour cream, salsa, or whatever you prefer inside and enjoy. You can make plain cheese ones for those picky eaters or basically whatever you like.
